A Unqiue Take
Curio Collection by Hilton
A Unique Take
Client: Curio Collection by Hilton Hotels
My role: Executive Creative director across campaign concept, creator strategy, production, on-location director and still photography.
The brief: How do you capture a collection of hotels, each with its own distinct personality and style, in a way that feels individual yet coherent as a collection? The brief was a genuine creative problem rather than a standard campaign ask.
What we made: The answer was to stop trying to make everything look the same. Instead we built a creator led content campaign where each hotel was matched with a filmmaker or creator whose personality and style genuinely complemented it. Each creator was briefed around a specific creative hook we identified for their hotel, giving them a genuine narrative thread to pull on. Alongside each creator film we captured the creative process itself, producing behind the scenes content that documented their approach and showed the hotels through a different lens entirely. The campaign launched in three phases across the full collection.
The Unique Takes
Sulià House, Sardinia
Shot by Luke Jackson-Clark
Sulià House is renowned for its golden hour light. We matched Luke, a photographer and filmmaker with a particular sensitivity to natural light, with the hotel for exactly that reason. The creative brief was built around a single theme: light as a story. The resulting film follows the transition of light across the hotel throughout the day, scored by a bespoke adaptation of the collection's commissioned soundtrack.
Le Hameau des pesquiers, france
Shot by Angela Tozzi
A slower, more contemplative shoot than Sardinia. Le Hameau is about immersion in nature, and Angela's quiet, considered approach was the perfect match. The creative hook here was sound rather than vision: the sea, the breeze, the landscape. Her film transports the viewer into a multi-sensory experience rather than a traditional hotel showcase.
Hagia Sofia Mansions, Istanbul
Shot by Keith Afadi
A completely different energy. Hagia Sofia Mansions is a collection of beautifully designed individual mansions spread across Istanbul's old town, a hidden oasis inside one of the world's most vibrant cities. That contrast became the creative hook. Keith's style of filmmaking was perfectly suited to capturing it, and his film reflects the true atmosphere of the hotel with real authenticity.
Production.
The production spanned multiple countries across a compressed shoot schedule. I directed the behind the scenes content across all locations, working closely with each creator to document their process while staying out of the way of the work itself. The approach was deliberately observational, capturing the creative thinking rather than performing it.
The Unique Influencers
Alongside the three lead creators, we partnered with social influencers matched to additional hotels in the collection. Lifestyle focused influencers were paired with hotels that suited that lens. Influencers whose content centred on design and architecture were paired with hotels whose stories lived in those areas. The matching logic was the same throughout: personality first, then pairing.

A Unique Sound
Every creator film was scored with a bespoke adaptation of an original soundtrack we commissioned specifically for the campaign. The brief to the composers mirrored the brief to the creators: give us your unique take on a piece of music that represents a collection of individual personalities forming a coherent whole. The main theme and individual hotel themes were composed and adapted to sit beneath each film, giving the collection a consistent but flexible sonic identity.
